Jordan Heritage Restaurant brings together dishes and flavors from across the Kingdom, shaped by years of culinary heritage research and a commitment to authentic Jordanian food.
Jordan Heritage Restaurant was created to document, revive and share Jordanian culinary heritage. The restaurant's own site says it has documented 94 Jordanian dishes over five years, trained 75 women across 10 governorates, sourced ingredients from women-owned businesses and hired from six governorates.
Rather than presenting one generic version of “Jordanian food,” the restaurant's official story emphasizes the diversity of dishes, regions and traditions found across Jordan.
